CAR SHOW
Everyone is invited to bring their cars, pickups, motorcycles, snowmobiles, works in progress, race cars, mud runners and any other special interest vehicle to the 2010 Sugarbeet Festival Car Show!! This event is a huge success and offers prizes and trophies. Registration is from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 25th on the 200 Block of Main (Indiana) Street in Chinook; sign-in at Dan’s Auto Parts. Entry deadline is 11:00 a.m. on September 25th and the show runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a poker run around the town of Chinook at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Prizes will be awarded in several categories this year including Patina of Original Paint (Paint-only, dents don’t matter), People’s Choice and Judges Choice in the following categories: Best Ford, Best GM/Chevy, Best Dodge, etc. For more information, contact Allen Pula at 781-8041 days and 357-2795 evenings. All participants are welcome to run in the parade at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. This event is sponsored by Dan’s Auto Parts and B & L Mechanics. Trophies are provided by Holden’s Hot Wheels.
