TRUCK SHOW AND SHINE
The Chinook Chamber would like to invite all truck owners to participate in the new Truck Show & Shine to be held Saturday, October 10th, 2009. This new event will be held on an annual-basis each fall. All types of semi trucks are welcome such as Class A trucks, Conventional, Cab-Over, Grain Trucks, Tow-Trucks, Service Trucks, Old, New, Restored and more (no trailers please). The show is sponsored by American Garage and will begin at 9:00 a.m. with registration on Main Street (between Centennial Park and the old L & L Pizza building). Trucks will be lined up in the center of Indiana (Main) Street and the entire length of blocks 2 and 3 reserved. If you plan on attending, please contact Scott DePriest, at 357-4201 or leave a message. There is no fee for showing your vehicle and the People’s Choice winner will receive a $500 Gift Certificate towards a new HERD Grill Guard, compliments of American Garage in Chinook. A polisher will be in the Chinook-Area the week before the show, please contact Scott DePriest at 357-2394 if you would like to reserve a polishing spot - fees involved.
